The Cycle Frontier: How Does Armor and Penetration Work | Damage Overview

Armors have their own usage in every game, here’s how armor penetration works in Cycle frontier and why is it important

When you are playing a first-person shooting game, one important note is to find some heavy armor. It will help your character decrease the damage dealt both by the enemy players and monsters.

The Cycle Frontier is a PvP PvE game, which means that you have to be prepared for facing other players as well as NPCs. To survive longer, you must equip a good armor to absorb the damage you will get from other prospects.

How Does Armor and Penetration Work

If you equipped an armor that has 10 protection then it means that you can deal with 10 multipliers. However, when you dealt with a gun that has 10 multipliers, it will deal a hundred percent impact on your armor.

If you are equipped with armor that has 15 armor penetration and gets hit by a gun with 10 multipliers/penetration you will get less damage. Getting less damage does not mean that you won’t get hurt, but, it will only take 80% of the damage.

More armor equals to less damage.

Damage Overview

In simple note,

  • When you do not have armor and got dealt with a 10-pen gun – it will increase its damage to three, which means that you will get damage of 13 in every hit.
  • If you have armor that is lower than the pen of a gun, you will deal damage but will not affect your health.
  • If you have armor that is equal to the pen of the gun, you will deal a hundred percent damage.
  • If you have armor that has a higher rate than the pen of the gun, you will only deal with 80% of the damage.
