Stray: How to Steal Atomic Battery From the Factory Midtown

Chapter 10 of Stray will task you with stealing an Atomic Battery from the Neco Corp factory. Here, you will need the help of Blazer to infiltrate the factory disguised as a worker. He will then ask you to steal a Worker Jacket and Hat for the disguise.

After giving him the two items, you’re now set to infiltrate the factory. However, it’s not as easy as it seems. In this guide, I’ll help you navigate through the factory so you can steal the Atomic Battery with ease.

How to Steal Atomic Battery From the Factory Midtown in Stray

Once Blazer has put on the disguise, get inside the box and wait for Blazer to head inside the factory. Once inside, get out of the box and find your way to the room with lasers on the door. Inside, you’ll notice a lot of Sentinels which you have to avoid. You need to avoid detection by avoiding the round lights you can see on the floor. 

You can also come across a factory worker who will drop their keys. Make sure to retrieve those keys to get the Neco badge. As soon as you arrive at the door with the laser, get inside a barrel that’s lying on the ground.

Roll it forward to safely go through the security door without raising the alarm. This is where you’ll find the Atomic Battery puzzle.

Solving the Puzzle

You’ll notice three pressure plates inside this room alongside two robotic boxes that you can turn on and off to follow you. You need to place them on two of the pressure plates. However, the second box is locked behind the left corner of the room. In order to move it, you need to move the first box close to the screen gate, and then hop on top of it to get to the second box.

Pull down the lever on the wall to open the screen gate, allowing you to move the second box. Then, place both boxes on the pressure plates on either side. Lastly, use the barrel earlier and roll it into the pressure plate in the middle.

Once all pressure plates are activated, a mechanism at the center of the room will open up. This contains the Atomic Battery which you can just take afterward. The alarms will then activate shortly, so make your way out of the room via the zipline outside.
