There is an achievement system, known as the trophy system, in Stray, just as in any other video game. There are over 25 trophies in the game, and each one has a different set of requirements. You can learn how to earn the “Can’t Cat-ch Me” Trophy by reading this guide. So without further ado, let’s begin!

Can’t Cat-ch Me Trophy Achievement Guide in Stray

Can’t Cat-ch Me, a secret Trophy in the cyberpunk cat game Stray, requires you to “Complete the first Zurk pursuit without getting captured.” You can do this in the Dead City chapter, which is rather early in the game. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy.

In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Can’t Cat-ch Me Trophy Achievement for your trophy collection in Stray.

Achieving Can’t Cat-ch Me Trophy

The Zurk pursuit begins when your cat comes upon nests of these creatures, which resemble glowing ticks and headcrabs in several ways. A cutscene will occur before the chase starts.

If you are ever caught, a circular icon will appear, and the screen will start to become red. You can shake off the Zurk and proceed if you quickly push the circle button.

However, your objective is to avoid getting caught even once during this part of the game. Fortunately, if you are discovered, you can reload your previous checkpoint to return to the beginning of this game and attempt again. Simply select “Reload Last Checkpoint” from the menu by pressing the Options button.

The moment a Zurk creature jumps, they are at their most hazardous in the air. They don’t seem to be able to capture you after they touch the ground. Therefore, the ones that are in the middle of a jump are what you should avoid.

Zig-zagging is generally the approach. However, it’s occasionally wise to sprint into a pack of Zurks and swerve just in time. Other times, you might need to draw out a particular Zurk leap by taking a wide swing from one wall to the other.

Repetition and memory are key in successfully achieving this trophy. Your chances of surviving are better the more you know the path.
