However, getting both clothing articles isn’t as easy as stealing them right away. There are specific steps you need to follow, and that’s what we’ll talk about in this guide.
How to Steal Worker Hat and Jacket in Stray
You start the quest by heading over to the entrance of the factory speak a brief dialogue with Clementine. Here, you can find Blazer standing right next to the archway.
When you first speak to him, he will comment that he’s quite busy. In order to get him to help with the quest, you need to show him the Contact Message.

You will be able to find the two clothing articles in the stores by the main square in Midtown. The problem is that you can’t just straight up steal them with the shopowners present. This is where you need to use some clever tactics in order to obtain these two items.
Stealing the Worker Jacket
Head over to where you met with Clementine to come across a robot named Simon. He will offer you one of his cassettes as long as you destroy three security cameras within the area. You can do this by going up the stairs nearby and then jumping onto the cameras to cause them to fall and break.
After destroying all three cameras, go back to Simon to retrieve the cassette. Then, head over to the clothing store in the main square and insert the cassette into the boombox. This will prompt the owner to leave to check it out, at which you can then steal the Worker Jacket.
Stealing the Worker Hat
For the Worker Hat, you need to head to the Midtown bar and look for a sleeping worker in the back room. You can wake him up by climbing up the ledge on the top and pushing the crate of bottles to fall on his head.
Make sure to follow him, and once he stops in front of a box, jump inside the empty box. The robot will then carry the box (with you inside it) inside the store.
Once you’re inside, wait for the robot worker to leave so you can steal the Worker Hat near the window. Exit via the floor event and give both the Worker Jacket and Hat to Blazer.
