How to Set Up Booby Traps in Sniper Elite 5
There are two ways to set up booby traps in the game. One is through the use of a corpse while the other is to use a generator. Regardless of which one you go for, you will need an explosive with you.
For a corpse booby trap, you’ll need to stealthily kill one enemy first. You can lure one into a spot where the other enemies won’t be able to notice. Then, as soon as he closes in, make sure to kill him in a single shot to the head. This way, you won’t alert his allies.

Then, keep your distance from the corpse booby trap and lure nearby enemies into it. After one of the enemies inspects the corpse, the booby trap should blow up in a few seconds, killing any nearby enemies at the same time.
For a generator booby trap, you’ll want to look for a generator nearby. Similar to the one you did for the corpse booby trap, simply go near it and pick the Booby Trap – Grenade option. Hide from a safe distance and lure enemies into the generator.
Compared to corpses, planting an explosive in a generator disables it. As such, when an enemy attempts to use it, it will cause the booby trap to activate.
