The Butterfly Sanctuary update is the latest upcoming update in Adopt Me! which is set to release this 18th of August. As the name implies, this will feature the new Butterfly pet that you can get as a pet. If you’re wondering how you can obtain one in the game, this guide is for you.

How to Get Free Butterfly in Adopt Me Pet Update in Roblox

Now, in order to get the Butterfly pet, you have to head over to the Butterfly Sanctuary. From there, buy either a Leaf or a Golden Leaf for several hundred bucks. Then, throw the leaves to the floor and wait for Butterflies to swarm.

The normal Leaf will give you a chance to catch either a Yellow, Scarlet, or Purple Butterfly. On the other hand, the Golden Leaf will give you a chance to catch either an Orange, Green, or the rarest Diamond Butterfly. This event will go on for two weeks, so that should give you enough time to get one.

That said, there’s actually a means of getting a Butterfly for “free”. This is done by doing various tasks at the Task Board, with each task giving you several bucks upon completion. All you have to do is earn 899 bucks by completing as many tasks as possible, then use it to buy a Leaf.
