Palworld: Ultimate Dungeon Guide | Get the Best Loot

Palworld has a lot of dungeon areas situated all around the map. These dungeons are the best way to get some amazing loot.

From mining ore to beating bosses, there is endless fun to be had here. Endless loot too, for all you farmers out there.

What is the best loot in the game though, and what are things to look out for in caves? That is what we will talk about today.

Dungeons tend to have a very similar layout throughout Palworld. There is the main boss room that you can find if you head straight through the dungeon. There are branching paths to the sides where you can find enemy humans, rare Pals, and mineable resources.

Making efficient use of all of the dungeons and all the things they have to offer is the fastest way to level up and progress.

Be sure to explore every corner of them yourself to see what you can find. For your convenience, however, we’ve compiled some key things to look for below. 

1. Catch Maus:

Maus are small cat-like Pals that are invaluable for gold farming purposes. When put inside a ranch, they drop gold consistently that you can pick up. They have a few dangerous attacks to look out for. Their heat-seeking damage orb that follows you is particularly nasty. 

Catching and taming some of these can prove to be an invaluable investment though, so be sure to catch yourself some. 

2. Mining Resources:

These dungeons are densely populated by different rocks that drop different sorts of materials when mined. Be sure to have a Metal Pickaxe when heading into a dungeon for maximum reward. 

You can get tons of different resources such as Sulfur and Coal through mining, so be on the lookout for any cool rocks you happen to spot. 

One of these cool rocks should be shining blue, which drops the much rarer Paldium Fragment resource. Mine as many of these as you can, as this is a very useful material.

As you progress, you should also notice rocks with a whitish color on them. When mined, they will drop ores. Ores are especially useful once you progress to some of the later parts of the game. Make sure to get a bunch of these.

The last type of rock to look out for is the Sulfur rock. This has a yellowish texture on it and drops valuable sulfur. Sulfur can be very heavy, so be sure to drop any less valuable items you have on you to make room for it. 

3. Catch Daedream:

Daedreams are another rare Pal found in these dungeons. These are very useful to have because they work for you at nighttime. They have black bodies with long and shiny pinkish hair. 

They also give a ton of XP when caught. All in all, they can be very elusive. Be sure to catch a couple whenever you visit a dungeon. They also shoot enemies for the player when used in combat. 

4. Catching Miscellaneous Tames:

While exploring the caves of whatever dungeon you’re in, you’ll see a lot of tames. Most of these are rare and drop massive XP and valuable resources when caught. Be sure to stock up on Spheres so you can catch as many as possible. 

A couple of those Pals were mentioned above, but always be on the lookout for whatever else you might see. Fuddlers and Killamaris are some other Pals which can be a good find.

5. Fighting Syndicate Thugs:

Usually, there’s a group of Syndicate Thugs roaming around in these dungeons. Fight them and kill them to receive some good drops such as gold and gain XP. They’re also a good source of ammo. 

6. Fighting Bosses:

Once you’re done exploring around the dungeon, it is time to head to the boss of the area. Bosses are larger Pals that drop valuable resources as well as give good amounts of XP. They can be hard to fight, but as long as you have some Pals with you, you should be good.

Head straight through the dungeon to locate the boss. It should be easy to tell once you’ve found it. They’re accompanied by smaller versions of them so be careful of crowd control. You can tell once you’ve located it by its massive size and the special health bar.

Try to catch the boss Pal instead of killing it if possible. Regardless, they will drop some neat items. One of these is the Ancient Civilization Parts which you need to level up your spheres. 

7. Reward Room:

Once you’re done with the boss room, progress to the final room of the cave. This room contains two special chests which have randomized drops. These drops can be massively valuable. They can be special materials, or even rare pendants which give you bonus effects.

Once you’re done with the dungeon, just approach the glowing purple crystal to be teleported outside of the dungeon. Hopefully, this helps you get more loot out of your dungeon adventures. Do as many of these as you can find, and you’ll be a top-tier player in no time!
