As far as I can tell, the very best Ancient Relic farm is focusing on the 3 spawn points shown above. These are all found in the southeastern region of the World Tree, where the Grizzbolts and Mozzanda Luxes are.

The main reason this is a good farm is that those 3 marked spots are spawn points for Pals with a misty glowing aura. These should look like the one above, as an example.

Whenever you kill one of these Pals, they will drop dozens of Ancient Relics. This includes nearly every tier of Ancient Relic, and in quite large amounts! You can see an example of the drops in the screenshot above.

Alternatively, should you wish so, you can also capture these aura Pals. All of them are guaranteed to have a World Tree passive skill, which are some of the best skills in 1.0. Plus, you’ll still get Ancient Relics when capturing.

Aside from those, the area is also full of regular Pals, primarily Grizzbolt and Mossanda Lux. Those can also drop Ancient Relics, so you can farm them while going back and forth between the aura Pal spawn points.

Additionally, you’ll also get a lot of World Tree Holy Water by killing the Pals in this area. You need that to process the Ancient Relics at the Ancient Relic Recycler, after all!

Lastly, I’d also recommend bringing a Menasting in your party when using this method. Its Partner Skill boosts the item drop rates from Electric Pals, such as the aforementioned Grizzbolts and Mozzanda Luxes in the area.
