How to Solve the Whistling Drop Wind Puzzle in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game that borrows heavily from the Uncharted series, making players jump from ledge to ledge with death dangling beneath their feet.

This is why it’s so easy to get lost in between lightsaber fights.

In this quick guide, you’ll learn exactly how to get past the confusing Whistling Drop Wind puzzle.

The Best Way To Solve The Whistling Drop Wind Puzzle in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

First things first, you need to fight the gust of wind that blocks you from climbing the rock wall.

You won’t be able to get past the wind head-on. Instead, approach from the corner of the mountain so that most of the wind is blocked. Once the wind dies down a bit, quickly climb the wall.

Once you get to the top, take a sharp left and head for the small cave littered with decorative pots.

When inside, squeeze through the tight area toward the back to get to the next section.

Once you’re on the other side, jump over the small chasm to the right, then jump over the next chasm to the left.

When you get to the other side, continue straight, then take out the two stormtroopers at the edge of the cliff.

Now the confusing part really begins. First, turn around and go down the dirt ramp.

Continue down the dusty trail until you run into a grate. Jump on the grate and climb all the way to the left. Then, drop down to the pipe below.

When you get to the end of the pipe, jump on the next grate, then climb all the way to the top.

At the top, move to the left, then drop down to the next grate. Then, grapple hook over to the wall that sticks out of the mountain.

Once you’ve grappled to the wall, slide all the way down and grab the next pipe.

Make your way to the left until you reach a dead end. Look up to find the next set of grates you need to climb.

When climbing up these grates, make sure to time your jumps carefully to avoid the wind from knocking you down.

Once you get all the way to the top, here’s where most people get stuck. You won’t see anything above you or to the left or right.

What you need to do is look behind you. There’s a small piece of grating on the structure above. It may be hard to see with all the dust blowing around. Grapple onto this grate. 

From here, drop down to the cliff below, then double jump to the climbable wall to the right.

Once you get to the top, you’re almost home free.

Look to your left to find a sign blowing in the wind. Jump towards it to grab onto one of the polls.

Now you just need to swing from that pole toward the cliff ahead. Wall run from the first cliff to the next one, then grapple toward the third.

After the third wall, you’ll cling to a climbable cliff. Make your way toward the last set of grates that you’ll need to climb.

You’ll know when you’re at the end of this maze when you see a group of stormtroopers talking to each other below you.

From here, just drop down and mess those stormtroopers up.

The Whistling Drop Wind puzzle is now complete.
