This time, it will be a rumor about certain ruins in the desert.
The ruins are likewise known as the Path of Conviction ruins, but to get there, you’ll need to solve a puzzle first.
This is a pretty lengthy and tricky puzzle, so if you’re confused as to how to solve it, we got you covered.

As soon as you reach the Western Deserts, you want to head to this location as shown in the image above. This is where you’ll find the Path of Conviction.
Once you get there, use the grapple point to the right to reach the other side of the cliff. Keep moving forward until you find another grapple point to the left.
You’ll notice an orb affixed on a rail to your left. We’ll call this orb #1, and all you need to do is Force Pull it.
This will lower the platform on the wall up ahead, as shown in the above image. This is the gist of the entire puzzle, with lots of orbs you have to move around.
After that, use the grapple point then aim it toward the platform on the left close to where orb #2 is.
Then, Force Push orb #2 to your left this time. This will cause a platform on your right (behind the grapple point when you face it) to stick out of the cliff’s surface.
Go back to where orb #1 is. You’ll notice that it’s now back to its original position. Same as the previous one, Force Pull orb #1.
However, immediately Force Push it to return it to its original position. Doing so will cause the rail for orb #2 to align once again.
Use the grapple point again, but this time, jump toward the rocky platform to your right. You’ll then see orb #3 to your right. Force Pull it then immediately drop down and Force Push orb #2.
Use the grapple point then head to where orb #2 is. This time, you’ll notice that the rail is now pointing upward. Simply Force Push the orb so you can proceed to the next steps.
Reaching the Final Orb
Go back to where you first started. This time, however, you have to head to the area to the left. Keep moving forward until you find two grapple points.
Just keep going forward, ignoring the stormtroopers that you encounter. You will find cliff surface to your left which you can grapple toward.
Simply make your way to the very top and you should be able to find orb #1 there on a trough.
Keep in mind that there’s another stormtrooper here. Take him down quickly before you proceed with the puzzle.
After that, simply Force Push the orb to lower the two massive pillars in the front, revealing a secret trench that will open on your right, as shown in the image.
This is just optional, but you’ll want to interact with the glowing object that appears to receive a new perk slot.
Once you’re done, go back to the trough and interact with the Force Echo on the ground. This will then complete the Explore the Ruins in Western Deserts puzzle.
Simply ride the relter to your right afterward.
