Aegidron is one of the many Pals you can get in Palworld 1.0, though it’s not one you can easily or naturally get early.

The main reason for this is that Aegidron is exclusive to the World Tree area. That means you’ll need to reach the endgame, for one. Then, Aegidron itself is quite tough, so whittling it down for capturing is also a challenge until later on!

In this guide, however, I’ll give you a breeding method that will allow you to get this Pal before even reaching the World Tree!

Obtaining the Parent pals

First off, as I mentioned before, this method is going to primarily require Pal Breeding. If you’re not too familiar with how it works, check out our Palworld Breeding guide. While it was for an older version, it works pretty much the same currently!

With that in mind, you’re going to want to get some Pals for breeding. The gist of it is that you will breed these Pals and their offspring until you get Aegidron.

Now, to start, you’ll want to head to the northern shores of Feybreak. Scout the area and collect Eggs there. You don’t need to fight or capture any Pals there, but do be careful if you’re at a low level and get attacked!

You’ll then need to hatch those Eggs. Your aim is to get these specific Pals: Tetroise Primo, Azurmane, Cryolinx Terra, and Jormuntide Ignis. Not all of them are necessary, but the more you get, the better.

While you’re at it, I also recommend looking for any junk piles along the shore and interacting with it. You can potentially get some higher-tier Pal Spheres from it, which will come in handy.

Aside from that, you’ll want to get Moldron and Vanwyrm. Which is where the higher-tier Pal Spheres come in handy, if you can’t craft them yourself yet! The map above shows where to find both of these Pals.

Note that you do need both of them. Unlike the Feybreak Eggs, both Moldron and Vanwyrm are required together.

Time to Start Breeding Pals

Once you have all of the parent pals, it’s time to start the breeding chain that will lead towards Aegidron.

The first Pal you want to breed is Suzaku. You can get it by breeding Moldron and Vanwyrm together, which is why both of them are mandatory.

Then, you’ll need to breed an Eidrolon. For this one, you’ll need a combination of the Pals from the Feybreak eggs you collected in the previous step. Here’s all relevant possible Pal combinations resulting in Eidrolon:

  • Azurmane + Tetroise Primo
  • Azurmane + Jormuntide Ignis
  • Cryolinx Terra + Jormuntide Ignis
  • Cryolinx Terra + Tetroise Primo

Once you’re done with that, you’ll have both Eidrolon and Suzaku. Breed them together to create Eidrolon Ignis, as well. You want to get at least 2 Eidrolon Ignis here, but having more couples is recommended.

As a bonus tip here, having Braloha at your base is a great idea here. You can capture it easily along Sea Breeze Coast, which is just a bit southwest of the Hill of Beginnings.

As mentioned in our list of the best Pals for your base, Braloha’s Partner Skill allows it to speed up egg production at Breeding Farms when assigned to your base.

Additionally, you can try getting the Philantropist passive on all of your Eidrolon Ignis. It will double their breeding speed.

While neither of these last two things are mandatory here, they’re highly recommended! They will greatly speed up the next step.

Wait for a Breeding Mutation

At this point, you should have at least 1 Breeding Farm with 2 Eidrolon Ignis in it. All you really need to do by now is to just keep breeding them and hope that you get lucky.

The Eidrolon Ignis will primarily give you eggs that hatch into more Eidrolon Ignis. However, if you manage to get lucky, a mutation will occur!

Mutations are completely random and seem to have a fairly low natural chance of occurring. Nonetheless, 2 Eidrolon Ignis will produce an egg that hatches into Aegidron when the mutation occurs.

This also means the Aegidron will have a Mutation Passive Skill, which are some of the strongest passive skills in the game. It’s a nice bonus, considering the luck required.

To bolster your chances, your best bet is just to have more Pals breeding at once. Set up multiple Breeding Farms, each one with 2 Eidrolon Ignis, to produce more eggs. More eggs means more likelihood of mutations!

Additionally, you can also boost the chances of mutations happening by using Extravagant Vegetable Cakes at the Ancient Hatchery. However, this is not available until Level 49 at the earliest.

Ultimately, it all comes down to pure luck at this point. Regardless, you just need to keep breeding Eidrolon Ignis couples until you get Aegidron. Besides, you can use all the surplus Eidrolon Ignis Pals to condense a max rank Eidrolon Ignis! It’s technically the fastest flying Pal, after all.

Wrapping Up

So, there you have it! Now you know how to get Aegidron early in Palworld 1.0, thanks to some clever chain-breeding.

This is definitely a time-consuming process, and it’s very reliant on pure luck to get the mutation you need. Nonetheless, it definitely allows you to get Aegidron way before you even set foot in the World Tree, which is where you would be able to capture it naturally. Not too bad, really!
