There are tons of animals that you will come across while traveling and adventuring through the world of Fire Emblem Engage. Some are big and some are small but most of them you are able to Adopt for yourself. In this guide, we are going to show you everything you need to know about adopting these animals. Let’s get started.
Animal Adoption Guide – Fire Emblem Engage
How Does Adoption Work?
You are able to Adopt Animals only after Chapter 4 or 5 in the game. It is pretty early on in the game that you can unlock but if you plan to do it before, it won’t be possible. Basically, you can go around different towns and map zones and adopt various types of animals once you find them in the map regions.
It’s quite a unique feature since you have to be doing a Mission in that town where the animal will be placed. You can’t actually visit or re-visit the town unless you have a mission in the town. So just aim for missions and then you can adopt the animals. When you complete the mission you will get into an exploration phase and now you adopt.
If you are interested in Re–Visiting a town, check out our guide How To Revisit And Go Back Into Towns In Fire Emblem Engage.
You will get 4 or 5 animals spawning in each location but not all of them spawn at once. So you may go into a town and only find 2 of them and then you might need to wait until later skirmish to find more of them.
Adopting Animals
It is a very simple thing to do. You just run up to an animal and you click the Adopt button. You don’t need anything special to do and it basically feels as if you’re stealing them, but it is called adopting in the game.
Once you have an adopted animal head back to the Somniel Map and go to the Farm. You will also get Adoption Experience to be able to recruit specific animals throughout the map. You get more as you progress through the game.
You will head to the Somniel and then just select the Farmhouse and the animals you want to place in your yard. It’s as easy as that!
