Last Epoch 1.0 is right around the corner, so we take a look at some of the most powerful builds currently in the game. We expect them to still be just as powerful once 1.0 drops!

These builds range from becoming the Reaper itself to shred your foes all the way to weaponizing friendly squirrels to rip and tear anyone who stands in your way. The game has quite a lot of variety!

Read on and we’ll go over 5 of the most powerful builds in Last Epoch, with one for every base class in the game.

Most Powerful Builds in Patch 1.0

Mage – Static Orb Sorcerer

Last Epoch 1.0: Most Powerful Builds - Mage electrifying his enemies

This build is for those of you who just dream about controlling lightning to do your bidding. This powerful build for the Mage is all about controlling the battlefield and electrifying foes!

Static Orb is the big skill to focus on here, as the name of the build indicates. It’s an extremely powerful AoE spell, so it’s fantastic for clearing out crowds.

But you won’t be left out to die when you are against single enemies, either, as you will have Lightning Blast. This secondary skill will be your big damage dealer against lone foes.

Top your offensive might with some strong defense thanks to Teleport and Flame Ward, and you have one of the most powerful spellcasters builds in the entire game!

Sentinel – Echo Warpath Void Knight

Last Epoch 1.0: Most Powerful Builds - Sentinel clones himself to win

This build isn’t just one of the most powerful builds in Last Epoch, it’s also one of the easiest to play. It’s also extremely fast and great for both farming and beating new content!

Your main focus with this build will be the Warpath skill, which you can use frequently to produce clones when combined with Echo Knight.

These clones will mimic your damage and apply Time Rot when combined with Maw of the Deep, making the build extremely efficient at destroying foes!

All in all, this build is all about obliterating anyone who stands in your path within seconds, thanks to your overwhelming damage output.

Rogue – Dancing Strikes Bladedancer

Last Epoch 1.0: Most Powerful Builds - The Rogue's speed and damage has no equal

The Dancing Strikes Bladedancer build is a unique one for the Rogue, as it allows her to fight more aggressively than usual. Hit-and-run tactics are a thing of the past!

You will focus on using Dancing Strikes as your main skill, which will apply stacks of Shadow Daggers and buffs to further bolster your damage output.

Additionally, Dancing Strikes gives you great mobility, so you will be zooming all over the battlefield as you lay waste to your opposition!

It’s a fantastic build that truly makes you feel like a Ninja as you smite foes with your unrivaled speed and Shadow Daggers procs.

Acolyte – Harvest Lich

Last Epoch 1.0: Most Powerful Builds - The Acolyte's Reaper Form

The Harvest Lich is a build that is surprisingly powerful in its current state, so we wouldn’t be surprised if it gets toned down a bit when Last Epoch 1.0 launches. Nonetheless, we are sure it will always be strong!

This build for the Acolye focuses on using the Harvest skill while in Reaper Form. When combined with passive skills like Harrowing Blade and Rapid Destruction, Harvest will be able to cleave through any foe.

Use your Death Seal ability to gain huge buffs, then swing into combat while in Reaper Form to Reap your enemies’ life essence to heal yourself!

It’s a very risky build, although it definitely pays off. You will often have to get close to death’s door to make the most of Death Seal. But, that is also what allows you to swing things back to your favor in the blink of an eye.

Primalist – Squirrel Beastmaster

Last Epoch 1.0: Most Powerful Builds - Primalist and his squirrels charge into battle

While you might assume that a Beastmaster is better off summoning bears and wolves, you’d be wrong. No, the real thing to fear is… squirrels!

The Summon Squirrel ability makes the Primalist into one of the most powerful minion builds in the entire game. Just make sure to get Pack Hunters to increase the amount of Squirrels you can summon.

However, this build is a bit more gear-reliant than others. You’ll need to get The Fang and Herald of the Scurry unique items to truly make your squirrels the fearsome monsters they can be.

Make sure to keep your Squirrels buffed with Warcry, or Sciurine Rage if you have the Herald of the Scurry helmet, and they will tear your enemies to shreds for you!

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
