Yager Development has been listening to community feedback ever since the release of The Cycle: Frontier. Now, just a few weeks after the release of the game, a new big patch in the form of 1.3.5 is out. Suffice to say, this new patch is big, with tons of changes to movement, weapon balances, and a lot more.
Let’s have a look at what these changes are.
New Patch 1.3.5 Update Overview | Weapons Balance, Grenade, and Movement Changes in The Cycle: Frontier
A lot of weapons received their much-needed balancing, including some shotguns such as the B9 Trenchgun and the PKR Maelstrom. The Maelstrom now has changes in its recoil, ADS spread, and hip fire in order to mitigate its power.
On the other hand, the Trenchgun has been nerfed, with its base damage reduced from 80 down to 64.
The same changes were also in the Manticore and Bulldog. However, such changes were pretty minimal. Another weapon that was given its much-needed love is the SMG. Specifically, SMGs in the game now have better recoil and ADS movement.
The new patch also introduces some changes to armor and penetration. Before the batch, players noticed that armor is not strong enough, and to solve this, developers buffed armor values significantly. Not only that, but they also increased the penetrating power of weapons from Epic to Legendary.
