The right base location can either make or break your experience in V Rising, especially when it comes to PVP servers. This is because if you establish a base in exposed locations, it will quite easy for other players to raid it.
This is why you have to pick a strategic location for your base when playing in a PVP server. If you don’t know which location to set up a base, then I have some recommendations for you below.
Best PvP Base Locations in V Rising
The best locations to set up a base in Vardoran are near valuable materials. However, keep in mind that in a PVP server, you’re competing with other people for a base spot. This means you have to do some careful planning before you pick a spot for your base.
In most cases, the spot you’re planning to set up a base will be occupied by another. Luckily, there are several spots in the game that you can choose from. They’re as follows:
Dunley Farmlands
The Dunley Farmlands is located right in the middle of the map. This alone grants you access to all locations throughout the map. Not only that, but it also grants you access to a lot of dungeons, farming spots, and fishing spots within the area.
Ideally, you want to build on the areas that are marked red on the map above. Their locations mean that they are out of the way for most players but will still provide you easy access to all other locations.
You can also choose to build on the areas that are marked blue. However, they’re not that recommended for PVP since most players will be able to come across your base that way.
Cursed Forest
Cursed Forest is a good spot for a PVP base if you want access to tons of iron. Apart from that, you can also find a lot of trees and animals in this area. This is an excellent spot if you plan to farm as many materials as possible.
Ideally, the ones marked red are the best spots for a PVP base in Cursed Forest. The only problem with this area is that you can only access it via the Dunley Farmlands. As such, traveling to other regions might be a bit of a pain in the butt.
Silverlight Hills
Silverlight Hills is currently the endgame area in V Rising. As such, you can expect a lot of high-level monsters roaming around. This means that it’s not recommended to set up a base here if you’re still low level. However, it’s no doubt one of the best areas to set up a base for late-game PVP.
Also, the area grants you access to silver which is a very important material for endgame crafting. You can also find a host of strong servants and slaves in this location. The caveat is that it’s located on the left side of the map, so you won’t be able to quickly access all areas, unlike the Dunley Farmlands.
As always, the spots marked in red are the best spots for a PVP base since they’re on the corners of Silverlight Hills.
