“Axe From The Lake” is a quest given by Zdenyek in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and it tasks you with finding a noteworthy Silver Axe.
The Silver Axe in the story sounded like it was a pretty solid weapon. Nonetheless, it resulted in the death of a pair of woodcutter brothers. Tragic as that might be, the Silver Axe is still somewhere out there… waiting for someone to find it… and Henry of Skalitz fits the bill!
If you’re eager to get your hands on this axe, read on. We’ll tell you the exact location of this legendary Silver Axe!
Where To Find The Silver Axe | Axe From The Lake Quest
Before we begin, you should make sure to bring a Spade with you. If you don’t have one, you can get one for free at the Troskowitz Cemetery. With a Spade in your inventory, go to the spot marked above. It’s directly north of the Rockwater Pond.
Once you reach the top of the hill in the spot we’ve marked, you should spot a grave. Henry will comment on it, as well, recalling Zdenyek’s story. Walk up to the grave and you’ll get the prompt to dig it up, as long as you bring a Spade.
After digging the grave, interact with the large white sack you dig up. There it is, the legendary Silver Axe! Although it seems to be in poor condition, as it is listed as a “Broken Axe” instead. Nonetheless, Henry will recognize it, so you just need to pick it up.
Now, that’s the location itself. However, you’ll also need to repair the axe to restore it to its former glory. To do so, just take it to any Blacksmith and use their anvil. You should see the “Adorned Axe” as a recipe now, requiring the Broken Axe and 1 Fastening Material. If you don’t have the Fastening Material, every Blacksmith sells them and they’re extremely cheap.
With that said, complete reforging the Broken Axe and you’re all done! That’s all you need to know to find the Silver Axe as part of the “Axe From The Lake” quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Return to Zdenyek to report your findings and complete this quest. Plus, you get to keep this pretty sweet axe for yourself!
