Cleanliness is important in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Just because you can run around in bloody or dirty garments does not mean that you should, especially since it can have a negative effect on your charisma rating. In this guide, we will give you a quick rundown of where and how you can wash your clothes on your own!

How to Wash Your Clothes

Henry is not a lazy man, or at least we hope you have not been roleplaying him as one, and he is actually perfectly capable of cleaning his clothes on his own. All you need to do is find a laundry spot and ensure that you have some soap with you.

There are multiple laundry spots scattered throughout both the Trosky and Kuttenberg regions. Just look for bodies of water and you are likely to find one. To help you out, here are map images with some of the spots highlighted. There are a few more to be found beyond these examples.

KCD2 map of laundry spots

A laundry spot is essentially just a wooden platform at the edge of a body of water, as seen in the image below. There, you have the option to wash yourself or to do laundry, though the latter will only be available if you have soap in your inventory.

Soap can be purchased from various merchants throughout the game, and you can even make it yourself if you know the recipe. Making it on your own will require you to learn how to brew stuff, so check your out guide on how to get started with alchemy first if you do not know how.

That is really all there is to it. Just know that your soap will degrade whenever you use it to clean. Eventually, you will need to replace it if you want to keep doing your own laundry.

If you do not want to do all of this manual work, you could always just pay somebody else to do it for you. For more information, check out our guide on how to find a bathhouse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!

Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
