Last Epoch: How to Unlock Mastery Tree

There’s a variety of different builds in Last Epoch, and a bunch of different trees that go along with each playstyle. The best way to optimize your build and play your best is to unlock mastery trees. With these, you can invest more into your playstyle and level up your play!

The game doesn’t really make it clear how you can unlock Mastery Trees, and players are often confused about it. We’re here to help though, so keep reading to learn how you can unlock Mastery Trees!

How to Unlock Mastery Tree

To unlock the Mastery Tree, you need to wait until you’re a decent way into the game. All you have to do is follow the main quests, which are the ones with the Yellow Quest markers. Eventually, you’ll reach a location called the End of Time. 

Once you reach this location, you’ll need to seek out an NPC. This NPC is an old man called Elder Gaspar. By talking to him, you can pick and choose what Mastery you need to unlock. 

While it may take a little while to get to, unlocking masteries is pretty simple in this game. Be sure to pick and choose wisely, as you can’t change this later!
