There are a lot of food types available in Medieval Dynasty, so it can be hard to gauge which one is the best.

Especially because the game’s somewhat realistic survival simulation has a lot of things for you to consider!

You’ll have to consider various factors when choosing food in this game such as nutritional value, storage space, availability, etc.

In this guide, we’ll tell you which food type is by far the best overall in this game and why.

Best Food in Medieval Dynasty

Medieval Dynasty: Best Food In The Game - Hunting for Meat

If you’re wishing to have a vegan playstyle in Medieval Dynasty, we’re sorry to disappoint you: Meat is by far the best food item in the game.

The main reason for this is that Meat can be obtained from a very large number of sources. You can hunt every single animal in the game for Meat, even rats count!

This makes it very easy to get during every season, especially if you have a farm with farm animals ready.

Thankfully, your villagers aren’t picky eaters in this game either. They will be happy as long as they have any food.

Making Dried Meat at the Hunting Lodge

You can also dry Meat with a Hunting Lodge II, which makes it very easy to preserve for a long time.

On top of that, the Hunting Lodge is the same building that lets you assign your villagers as workers. You can’t beat the convenience!

Of course, you can also make Roasted Meat at a fire or Salted Meat at the Hunting Lodge.

Meat also has a very decent amount of nutrition and is relatively low weight, which makes it not take up too much room in your Food Storage building.

Roasting Meat

Another important thing about Meat is that it can be used as an ingredient in certain recipes such as Potages.

Which, on that note, Potage is one of the best meals for you to feed yourself in this game as they provide both Food and Water!

If you wish to refrain from using Meat, your best bet would be Flatbread.

A farm with a Windmill

That said, you’ll need to have a Farm and Windmill ready to harvest grains and turn them into flour, making it harder to produce large amounts of Flatbread than Meat.

Nonetheless, now you know what the best food for you and your villagers is in Medieval Dynasty!
