Medieval Dynasty has a progression system in place that limits you from going crazy with your settlement too quickly, and the building limit is the biggest roadblock until you increase it.
You’ll need to progress through certain quests in the game if you wish to raise the limit to truly build a proper dynasty!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to increase the building limit cap.
How To Increase The Building Limit

The main way to increase the building limit in Medieval Dynasty is by completing the Chapter Quests.
Most of the Chapter Quests will reward you with a substantial increase to your building limit. Note, though, that a few chapters don’t reward building limit increases!

Chapter Quests can be reviewed at any time by checking the Journal tab in the game’s pause menu.
Nonetheless, here is how the limit cap is raised as you progress through the game’s story:
- Chapter I: A New Beginning – The game’s tutorial basically, gives you your initial building limit of 5.
- Chapter II: A Survivalist – No increase to the limit.
- Chapter III: Good Morning My Neighbors – Increases the limit to 10.
- Chapter IV: Into the Wilderness – No increase to the limit.
- Chapter V: A Farm – Increases the limit to 20.
- Chapter VI: The Resourcefulness – Increases the limit to 25.
- Chapter VII: Starting a Community – Increasesthe limit to 35.
- Chapter VIII: A Big Game – Increases the limit to 45.
- Chapter IX: Newcomers – No increase to the limit.
- Chapter X: The Dynasty Continues – Increases the limit to 65.
Complete all the Chapter Quests to have your final building limit of 65 and you’re all set! But, is that not enough for you?
Game Customization Options

Well, you can also increase the building limit at any time by pausing the game and accessing the “Customize Game” options.
One of the first settings in the list is “Buildings Limit” which is set to 100% by default, but you can raise it up to 200%. This should give you 130 for your Building Limit, but it actually gives you 140!
Besides these two methods, there are no other official methods to raise the building limit.
It’s also not recommended to go beyond 140 buildings due to hardware limitations. The game requires a lot of processing power for every building!

Lastly, it’s also important to know that the building limit is shared by all players in multiplayer. As such, it’s ideal to work together to clear the Chapter Quests together quickly.
Anyway, now you know everything you need to know to increase the building limit to the max in Medieval Dynasty.
