Medieval Dynasty has just received the new Oxbow map with its 2.0 update, and we’ve got the best starter location to get high profits early.

After all, Medieval Dynasty can be brutal early on if you don’t have enough funds to provide for yourself and your people.

In this guide, we take a look at what the best starting location is and why.

By far the best starter location for high profits early in the new Oxbow map is the mine outside of Plastovia. It’s smack dab in the center of the map, so you can’t miss it!

Exit Plastovia going to the northeast, and you’ll find a mineable cave before long. The thing is, you’ll need to buckle up for a bit because you need to build a Mine here!

Mines require the following materials to build:

  • Logs x24 – Obtained by chopping down trees with an Axe. You’ll need 24 in total, including what you’ll need to craft Planks.
  • Planks x16 – You can craft them at a Carpenter’s Table in Woodsheds using Logs. You’ll need 8 Logs to craft the 16 Planks.
  • Daub x16 – You can craft it in Barns when you have 10 Farming tech points. Can only be crafted in batches of 10 using 10 Clay and 10 Straw each time, so you’ll need 20 Clay and 20 Straw in total.

Once you have all the materials, build your mine here and you’ll start racking in the profits by selling ores!

This also makes it an ideal place for you to build a settlement, and it’s a good idea to build Resource Storages later on as well. They’ll allow you to carry more ores and other resources at once.

Do note that the mine’s resources get exhausted after a while, but they reset each season.

Also remember, you can have 6 villagers assigned as miners, as well as 1 teenage apprentice. The more miners, the faster you will get ores.

But well, there you have it, this is by far the best starter location in the new Oxbow map! This mine is going to bankroll you for a lot of the early game.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
