Base building is one of the main mechanics in Roots of Pacha. You basically build your own house so you can have your own shelter where you can rest, store your items, and more.
Luckily, building a house in the game isn’t all that complicated, unlike other games in the genre.
Still, if you can’t seem to figure it out, this guide should help you.
How to Build a House in Roots of Pacha
Compared to other games where you have to manually build each section of your house, it’s a bit different in Roots of Pacha.
Instead, you will have access to a prefabricated hut, and all you have to do is place it on a spot of your choice. But before that, you need to purchase it first.
To do so, you want to look for an NPC named Croll. You can find him on the map as shown in the image above.
Once you get to Croll, talk to him and choose the Build option which is represented by the Hammer icon on top of his head. You will then see the Small Hut in the selection.
As you can see, you’ll need 25x Wood, 10x Stone, and 25x Plant Fiber in order to build a small hut. You will also need 250 Contributions, and the time it takes to complete this is 2 in-game days.
Given that you have met all of the requirements, select the small hut, click the Build button, then place it on an available spot.
Keep in mind that there are specific spots where you can place your house. Once you have decided which spot to place it, simply press the Place button and click Accept.
Croll will then inform you that it will take 2 days to build the hut. Simply return to your designated spot to check if the house is already built.
