Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Unlock Second Half of Forest of Valor

The second part of Forest of Valor Realm is useful since you could mine Iron in this area as well as continue with the Elsa and Anna Questline.

If you are reading this, chances are you have unlocked the first half of forest of valor and acquired Donald Duck and Cristoff.

Exploring the area would leave you stumped (pardon the pun) because of areas blocked by stumps with mushrooms on them.

In this guide, we will be showing you how to clear these hard-to-reach areas to unlock the second part of the Forest of Valor Realm.

Guide on how to unlock the Second Half of Forest of Valor in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To do this, we need to have Anna unlocked. Head over to Merlin in The Castle and Unlock Anna for 4000 dreamlight. This would unlock the Frozen Realm and Start Annas Quest “The Spirits of Nature”.

Reach Level 2 Friendship with Anna

For you to continue your journey to unlocking the Forest of Valor, you need to befriend Anna up to level 2 friendship. Do this by interacting with her and giving her gifts. Every day she has a list of favourite gifts.

Giving her things she likes, boosts the experience level for your friendship bar. Continue giving her gifts until you reach level 2. When the option is available for her to choose the role you can assign her, it would be best to assign her role to mining since this area is where you can mine iron and having a perk for this would make farming iron a bit easier.

Start the Level 2 Quest and Complete it

The next quest will have you looking for the Ice Cavern on the other side (2^nd part) of Forest of Valor. After interacting with Anna, she will lead you to the bridge where the stumps of mushrooms are blocking the way.

Craft the Shovel Blade and get yourself a shovel

There will be a list of things you have to do for the quest and the last would be for you to craft a shovel blade at the crafting station. Head over to the crafting station and craft yourself the shovel blade.

If you did the previous tasks for Anna, you should have the right amount of materials for crafting. These are 10 pieces of softwood, 4 pieces of hardwood, 4 iron ingots and 3 tinkering parts.

Head back to the bridge and clear the mushroom stumps

Equip the newly crafted shovel and head over to the bridge. Using your shovel, you can now unlock the second area of the Forest of Valor and continue with your quest.
