Warzone DMZ has a variety of vests players can use in Season 3 which are also known as plate carriers.
They provide bonus health with their armor, and some of them even provide unique advantages to give you an edge on the battlefield.
Of course, they’re not created equally. In this guide, we’ll rank all available vests from best to worst.
Medic Vest
This vest might be the best one currently, at least in general use. It allows you to revive teammates much faster and allows you to self-revive faster as well.
It’s a must-have for solo players in particular since they rely much more on self-revives than team players.
Like most other vests, it carries 3 plates. You can trade for it using the following items:
Bandages x3
Watch x1
Liquor x1
Comms Vest
Another 3-plate vest, the Comms Vest is another one that’s especially good for solo players. It has a set of perks that should help you detect enemies before they jump on you.
First of all, this vest will boost the potency of your UAVs, making it easier to detect nearby players. It will also alert you of nearby players by emitting a sound.
Pay attention to this audio cue and you should have a much easier time detecting other players!
You will need the following materials to barter for it:
Hard Drives x2
Soothing Hand Cream x1
Batteries x1
Tempered Vest
Warzone veterans will instantly know what this plate carrier does. This vest comes with the classic Tempered perk, which means that it only has two plates instead of three plates.
Each plate will provide 75 extra health instead of 50, so it ultimately has the same amount of protection but you will need to get fewer armor plates.
This will greatly reduce how many plates you need to loot. This makes it an excellent pick for your vest!
The items required to get it from bartering are as follows:
Documents x2
Classified Documents x1
Sensitive Documents x1
Stealth Vest
Lastly, we have the 3-plate Stealth Vest which might be the worst one of the available plate carriers, sadly.
It gives you the Ghost Perk which should make you harder to detect, but you will still show up on UAVs when firing your guns anyway.
It’s countered by the Comms Vest as well. None of the other vests are countered by another one, so it makes the stealth vest a less appealing option overall.
If you still want it, you can barter for it with the following:
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
