The current season of Warzone 2 DMZ features a bunch of new missions waiting for you to complete. Aside from that, it also introduces the new Redacted faction which also comes with its own set of missions.

One such mission from the faction is Smoking Gun, a tier 2 mission that will task you with infiltrating locked spaces in three different locations. One of these locations is the Control Tower in Al Mazrah.

In this guide, we’ll show you how you can clear the air traffic control tower in the area with ease.

As you’d expect, the only way to clear this objective is to clear the area of enemies. To start, you want to head to Al-Malik Airport and reach the control tower.

Once you get there, you then need to make your way to the stronghold. However, you’ll find that the building is locked, and to open it, you’ll need the Control Tower key.

As far as we know, you can purchase the key for 30,000 cash via the Buy Station. However, since the items in the Buy Station are randomized, the key might not appear.

Instead, you’ll have to look for it by killing enemies or looting containers. Then again, it’s a random drop.

After you managed to get the Control Tower key, go back to the building earlier and open it. You’ll then come across a lot of enemies along the way. Make sure to kill every single one of them starting from the first all the way to the third floor.

You’ll also come across an enemy who’s inside a locked room on the second floor. Make sure to use your Drill Charge to take him out.

This could take several minutes to complete, but as long as you make sure that every enemy is taken down in every corner, the objective should then be completed.
