Sea of Thieves: All Journal Location Guide | Lost Sands Adventure
The new Lost Sands adventure will allow you to choose between the Hunter’s Path or the Servant’s Path. Regardless of the path you choose, there will be several journals to collect along the way.
There are a total of 8 journals to collect in the new Lost Sands adventure in Sea of Thieves. Four of these are the Servant’s Journals which can be found by following the Servant’s path. Meanwhile, the other four are Merrick’s Journals which can be found by following the Hunter’s Path.

All Journal Location Guide in Sea of Thieves: Lost Sands Adventure
Since all 8 journals are evenly divided between the two paths, let’s cover them separately. Do take note that if you want to complete the Adventure’s Deeds, you have to obtain all 8 journals.
Luckily, you can complete both paths, and even if you’ve already finished them both, you can still influence the side of your chosen faction. With that out of the way, here are the different locations where you can find the journals.
Merrick’s Journals
You can find all four of Merrick’s Journals in the Cannon Cove, Golden Sands, Smuggler’s Bay, and Stephen’s Soils. Here are their exact locations:
Cannon Cove – Found near a rock cluster at the northwestern cove
Golden Sands Outpost – Just at the end of the bridge connecting the main isle to the eastern isle, a short distance from the watchtower
Smuggler’s Bay – Located at the eastern beach just underneath some fishing equipment
Stephen’s Spoils – Found just right next to the entrance of the shop on the left side
Servant’s Journals
The Servant’s Journals are located in Cannon Cove, The Reaper’s Hideout, Twin Groves, and Wanderer’s Refuge. Here are their exact locations:
Cannon Cove – Just right next to the beach camp
The Reaper’s Hideout – Found on the scaffolding which is located behind the main building
Twin Groves – Located on the northwestern portion of the beach
Wanderer’s Refuge – Located inside the huge rocky tunnel
