The snowfields of Palworld are home to some very unique and special Pals. Located in the North of the map, The Pristine Snowfields are an area you will probably be exploring late on in the game.
In this area, you can find the 3 Pals: Wumpo, Maraith, and Felbat. We will be looking at where exactly you can find them in the Pristine Snowfields, what they do, and how to catch them.
All 3 of these Pals are great Pals to have in your party and can prove to be very useful going into the end game.
Wumpo, Mariath, and Felbat Location & How to Catch Them
Towards the northwest of Palworld’s map, you will find the Pristine Snowfields. You can find all 3 of them roaming around in the Pristine Snowfields. There’s also a chance of encountering multiple at the same time, so always be on the lookout for them.
The snowfields can be a bit tricky to traverse due to the extreme cold you will find there. Cold-resistant armor is a must-have for roaming this area.
Catching Wumpo, Maraith, and Felbat
We will be looking at how to catch all 3 pals individually, and what these Pals add to your arsenal.
A large ice-type Pal, Wumpo is an imposing blue and white furred Pal. Catching Wumpo is relatively easy compared to the other 2 Pals on this list. This is mainly due to its slow speed when moving and attacking, which makes it very easy to dodge its attacks.
Wumpo is an ice-type Pal, making it weaker to fire damage. Having a fire-type Pal for this fight can help you bring Wumpo’s health down to capture it.
Having Wumpo in your party of Pals will increase your equipped loadand let you carry more items when on an adventure. Other than that, Wumpo is also very useful to have for his work capability, especially for transporting or lumbering.
Maraith
Maraith is a 4 legged dark-type Pal. When approaching a Maraith, you can easily sneak behind it and try to deal a large chunk of damage that way. The Pal being dark type means it is weak to dragon-based damage.
The best way to utilize Maraith is by riding it for transport or into battle. Like other mountable Pals, Maraith provides players with a fast way to move around the map.
Riding Maraith into battle has its own benefits, as the Pal will apply dark damage to all your attacks. This can be very useful when fighting Pals that are neutral type.
Felbat
The last Pal on this list, the Felbat is a very unique Pal due to its extremely useful special skill that gives you a huge boost in battle. When fighting alongside Felbat, a portion of the damage dealt by Felbat or the player is restored back to both the player and Felbat.
This life-stealing ability is extremely useful in longer fights where healing constantly can be the difference between life and death. Other than combat prowess, Felbats also come equipped with level 3 medicine production.
Like Maraith, Felbat is also a dark-type Pal, making it weak to dragon damage. Dark-type Pals are generally harder to come by in Palworld, making Felbat a great addition to your party of Pals.
