Stop hoarding that gold!

You might find yourself hoarding gold with nothing to spend it on in Palworld, as the locations for merchants are somewhat hard to find in the game’s massive open world.

It’s not uncommon for players to spend dozens of hours exploring without coming across a single settlement or merchant!

In this guide, we tell you where to find all of the various merchants in Palworld.

All Merchant Locations

Early Secret Black Marketeer

Palworld: All Merchant Locations - Early Black Market

The first merchant is one that we’ve covered previously, and that’s the Secret Black Market Vendor near the starting point. His location on the map is shown above.

You’ll have to make your way into a dimly lit cave once you reach the area on the map.

Cave entrance

The cave doesn’t have any enemies or detours, though, so just follow the linear path until you reach the merchant.

Black Marketeer's stock

This Black Marketeer specializes in “contraband” Pals. His prices are extremely high, but you can get some rare Pals if you’re willing to part with your money!

His stock is randomized and changes every now and then, so make sure to visit him often.

Small Settlement Merchants

Palworld: All Merchant Locations - Small Settlement

The first proper settlement is the Small Settlement, directly to the west of the starting point. The merchants here are honest folk, unlike the Black Marketeer from before!

Explore the various huts in the settlement and you’ll come across the following merchants:

  • Pal Merchant (Blue Clothes) – Buys and sells regular Pals.
  • Wandering Merchant (Red Clothes) – Buys and sells a variety of items, such as ammo, resources, and even rare crafting schematics.

Just like the Black Marketeer from before, their stock randomly changes every now and then.

Duneshelter Merchants

Palworld: All Merchant Locations - Duneshelter

You can find the Duneshelter settlement far to the north, on the desert biome. It’s an extremely hot and dry region, so make sure to wear clothes that protect you from heat!

There are four types of merchants in this settlement:

  • Pal Merchant (Blue Clothes) – Buys and sells regular Pals.
  • Wandering Merchant (Red Clothes) – Buys and sells a variety of items. Mostly sells medicines, Skill Fruits to teach new abilities to Pals, and materials.
  • Wandering Merchant (Black Clothes) – Buys and sells a variety of items. He seems to specialize in clothing, schematics, and ammo. He sometimes sells guns for extremely high prices.
  • Black Marketeer – Randomly appears on the outskirts of the city. Buys and sells rare Pals.

Of course, as you might expect, all of their stocks change sometimes when days pass in-game.

The Dunes Black Marketeer

Palworld: All Merchant Locations - Dunes Black Marketeer

The third Black Marketeer on this list. This one is hidden in a mine near the rocky formation to the east of the Duneshelter.

Dunes Black Marketeer location entrance

Just like the early game Black Marketeer, reaching him is no issue once you find the entrance to his mine.

As always, he seems to buy and sell rare Pals. He doesn’t seem to have anything special that sets him apart from the other two Black Marketeer, despite being so hidden!

Fisherman’s Point Merchants

Palworld: All Merchant Locations - Fishermen's Point

The last settlement on this list. You can find it on the shore at the very south of the map, west of the starting island.

There are three types of merchants in this settlement:

  • Pal Merchant (Blue Clothes) – Buys and sells common Pals.
  • Wandering Merchant (Green Clothes) – Buys and sells a variety of items, primarily focused on guns, ammo, and schematics.
  • Wandering Merchant (Red Clothes) – Buys and sells a variety of items. Seems to specialize in Skill Fruits, medicines, materials, and Pal Spheres.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
