ARK Fjordur: Best Locations to Find Metal

Metal is a resource that remains relevant in all stages of the game. You use it to craft a lot of structures as well as gear. The problem is that it can be a bit hard to find a reliable farming spot for metal. Luckily, there are certain locations in Fjordur where you can find tons of metal to mine.

In this guide, I’ll show you where those exact locations are.

Best Locations to Find Metal in ARK Fjordur

There are four different locations to farm metal in Fjordur. Even just a single location will yield several hundreds of metals which you can then smelt into ingots. However, if you need tons of metal, then visiting all locations is an ideal option.

Location #1

You can find this location on coordinates 51.9, 29.9. This is pretty close to a shipwreck that spawns crates that contain metal tools as well as some supplies when destroyed. From there, head straight inland until you come across a rock archway.

Make your way to the top of the rock, all while avoiding the hostile creatures in the area. At the top, you’ll find lots of metal nodes you can farm.

Location #2

The second location will require a raft or even a flyer. You can find the waterfalls on the base of a castle, with a tiny waterfall down the coast. On the right side, you can find a handful of rich metal nodes. The only problem is that there are lots of Carnos and Rexes roaming around.

But as long as you have a reliable flyer, ideally an Argy, you should be able to escape quickly after gathering enough metal. If your Argy is strong enough, you can also use it to fend off any hostile creature that gets close.

Location #3

This one is inside a cave near the east waterfall on coordinates 62.7, 81.4. Here, you can find several metal nodes, some of which are rich metal. You can also find several oils and crystals which are also really valuable resources.

Location #4

Located on coordinates 29.6, 52.2, this one is my favorite mining spot due to the number of metal nodes you can find in the area. Also, the location is not far from the huge castle. So if you want to make that your base, then this is the best location you can visit if you want to farm metal.
