As you level up in Tower of Fantasy, the enemies’ levels also scale with you, making it harder to kill and obliterate them. Upgrading your weapon may grant you more damage, but there is another way to dominate the game: by equipping and upgrading gears. We are going to teach you everything you need to know about gears.
How to Make Your Character Stronger in Tower of Fantasy
Before talking about gears, you need to know about Combat Scores, CS for short. It is a numerical standard that determines the power of your character, how much damage you do, and how much damage you can take. Some game modes have a minimum CS requirement.
At Level 25 in Tower of Fantasy, you will start to get gears. They can be obtained from doing Joint Operations, Crystal Dust Shop, and Opening Password Chests (Requires level 30). Each gear will have Base Stats and Random Stats.
Gear Guide in Tower of Fantasy
Gears have the following rarities:
Normal, gray color
Fine, green color
Rare(R), blue color
Super Rare(SR), violet color
Specially Super Rare(SSR), gold color
Currently, 8 gears can be equipped. These are:
Helmet
Shoulderguards
Suit
Wristbands
Belt
Gloves
Leggings
Boots
Obtaining a gear will give a random stat, and normal gears will only have 1 Random stat, 2 stats for the Fine rarity, 3 for the Rare and Super Rare rarity. Lastly, 5 for the especially Super Rare rarity.
As of now, Super Rare rarity is the highest gear that players can get due to level restrictions. Equipping gears increases the Combat Score, making you stronger. Do not worry when you are going to level up your gear. If you change the gear to a higher rarity, you can retain its level.
