Slime Rancher 2: How to Find Starlight Strand

If you have played Slime Rancher, then you are in for a big treat as Slime Rancher 2 is now available for Early Access. You are still going to play as Beatrix LeBeau, but you are going to explore the new Rainbow Island. One of the areas in the game is the Starlight Strand, and we are going to show you how to find it.

How to Find Starlight Strand in Slime Rancher 2

The Starlight Strand is an area in Slime Rancher 2 with blue and red trees. Some slimes are to this place, such as the Hunter Slime, Ringtail Slime, Flutter Slime, and Honey Slime. To reach Starlight Strand, you need to activate a Portal near the Rainbow Fields base.

Locating the Starlight Strand

To activate the Portal that leads to Starlight Strand, you need to have the Cotton Gordo explode. The Cotton Gordo is located southwest of Rainbow Island.

The area indicated by a red circle in the picture above is the location of the Cotton Gordo. You need to feed it 30 foods, specifically vegetables. Its favorite food is Water Lettuce, and you only need to feed it 15-16 times if you have it.

If you do not have Water Lettuce,you can harvest 20 carrots along the way to Cotton Gordo. Then harvest 10 carrots below the place where you find it.

After the Gordo explodes, you just need to get inside the cave where it stood. Push the button to activate the portal. Run out of the cave and take a left turn until you find the portal that leads you to Starlight Strand.
