The Portal Pile is one of the downloadable challenge maps available for Minecraft Legends.
You can obtain it from the Legends and Myths marketplace for free. Completing it will reward you with a brand new rare skin for your character!
However, it’s an extremely tough challenge where you have to survive wave upon wave of Piglins! Don’t worry though, as we’ll give you tips to help make it easier for you.
How to Beat Lost Legends: The Portal Pile in Minecraft Legends
You want to start the map as usual by gathering as many resources as you can. You have a good amount of Allays from the get-go, so you can gather a large number of resources quickly.
Once you have enough resources, start placing down Plank Golem Spawners. Spread them out around your base, and place them close to where the Piglins come from.
You can use every spawner to recall the type of mob that they spawn, so you can use this to quickly move your army around. Do this to focus on where the Piglins attack from.
Remember to check the Village Chest after every wave as it will be replenished with some vital resources.
Build Grindstone Golem spawners close to the Plank Golem spawners. They are crucial to taking down the larger Piglin groups that you will be facing later on.
As the waves get harder, make sure to set down some walls and towers around the Fountain to prevent the annoying Piglins from reaching it.
It’s also a good idea to place some Carpenter Huts close to the Fountain. They will repair it, giving you some extra time to fend off the hordes of enemies.
You should also have walls and towers along the outer edge of your bases, mostly to slow down the Piglins. The longer you can distract them, the more time you have to take them out.
Lastly, make sure to replace your structures with better ones. You will unlock more Songbook melodies as you fend off wave after wave of Piglins.
These will give you access to better buildings and mobs! Make sure to stay calm and be patient if you lose. It’s a very tough challenge after all.
