One of the new gameplay mechanics added in Resident Evil 4’s Remake is the Charms. These are little figurines that you can attach to your case to give you a variety of buffs.
The Iluminados Emblem charm is a particularly strong one, at least for players who like using melee attacks. It gives melee attacks 20% more critical chance, making them more likely to instakill foes!
If you’re eager to get your hands on this charm to power up your suplexes and kicks, this guide will tell you how to get it.
Getting the Iluminados Emblem Charm in Resident Evil 4 Remake
To get this charm, you first need to progress the game until Chapter 3. After you pass through the quarry, you will get access to the shooting range run by the Merchant.
You can find a gacha machine at the shooting range. Use this machine by inserting Silver and Gold Tokens, using up to 3 tokens each time.
The combination of tokens will alter the prizes. For example, 2 Gold and 1 Silver will give better rewards than using just 3 Silver tokens.
Sadly, the rewards are completely randomized for each playthrough. As such, what gives us an Epic Charm might give you a Common Charm.
However, the actual order of the rewards is fixed. That means that you will always get the same rewards in the same order for the same tokens, but the rewards themselves are unique to your playthrough.
For example, let’s say that you save before using the gacha machine. Then you use 3 Silver Tokens and get a J.J. charm. If you reload your save and use 3 Silver Tokens again, you will get the same charm.
Ultimately, this just means that you first need to get as many tokens as you can. You can earn them from the shooting range challenges, but they can also be purchased with Spinels in Chapter 11.
Once you have enough tokens, save the game. Go into the shooting range and use the gacha machine with a combination of tokens. We recommend trying 1 Silver and 2 Golds first.
Keep rolling until you get the Iluminados Emblem charm. If you run out of tokens, reload your save and use a different combination of tokens. For example, try using 3 Gold Tokens now.
It’s an annoying process since it relies on trial and error, luck, and experimentation. But if you persevere, you will eventually get the charm you want!
