17 articlesThe Viper mission in Resident Evil 4 Remake is a side quest that will reward you currency upon completion. When you visit the merchant in the game you can see notes containing tasks around the merchant.
One of the tasks is to kill three vipers and bring the three dead vipers to the merchant. The merchant will reward you with 1000 Ptas per viper.
To do that, you need to know their locations. This guide will show you where they are.
Where to Find All Vipers in Resident Evil 4
Before you begin, just keep in mind not to use up your ammo when you eventually find the vipers. They are quick to move around, so you will end up wasting a bit of ammo on them.

Town Hall
In the Town Hall, when you enter the main building, you’ll find a small room if you take a left turn. Enter the room to find some breakable barrels and crates.
One of the breakable crates is on the shelf when you enter the room on your left side. Break the crate to release the viper. Kill it then go for the others afterward.
Village Church
There is an area that you can easily miss between the Church and the Village Square. If you go around the church and up a flight of stairs, you’ll find a small room with a desk containing a drawer with ammo.
Opposite that is a breakable crate lying on top of a wooden desk. Break the crate to release the viper and kill it.
Fish Farm
You will have to scour this area a bit. The fish farm has a few wooden jetties in the area. If you look at the map from above, it is on the top right side.
There are a couple of crates and barrels that you need to break to find the final viper. Find the final viper then bring all three dead vipers back to the merchant. Collect the reward after.
