In this guide, we’ll go over every step in making the best armor in Atelier Ryza 3! Nothing in the game will even be able to do anything against you, at least until the DLC releases.
How to Make the Strongest Armor in Atelier Ryza 3
For our best armor, we will be using the Armanoir as a base. This armor can be equipped by every character in the game, so we will be making an amazing overall armor for everyone.

Atelier Ryza 3: Which is the Best Overpowered WeaponMar 28, 2023To start, fill the material loops with the right items. The central Effect 1 slot requires a Grand Orgen. You will also need a Dark Glittering Oval on the central Effect 2 slot.
After that, add another Grand Orgen to the central Effect 3 Metal slot. For the centermost Effect 4 Jewel slot, use a Philosopher’s Stone. This will allow us to get the ATK & DEF Charge++, HP Charge++, and Stats Charge++ traits on the armor.
Next, add another Grand Orgen to the Effect 1 slot in the bottom left. It’s the slot that specifically requires a Grand Orgen.
Lastly, use a Secret Key with the Quantity Up L synthesis effect. This will allow you to add 10 more Grand Orgens to the central Effect 3 Metal slot. This will give you some extra stats.
Now, you will need to make use of Item Rebuilding so that you can add a Super Trait to the armor.
Rebuilding the Armor for a Super Trait
Start Item Rebuilding at your cauldron and pick the Armanoir you previously created.
You will first need to unlock the remaining effects on the armor. Set a Philosopher’s Stone in the bottom left’s Effect 1 Jewel slot. Set another Philosopher’s Stone in the bottom right’s Effect 2 Jewel slot.
Lastly, add the Super Trait for this armor: Lion Rush. Set a base item that has the trait on the middle bottom’s Effect 3 Jewels slot. Gold and Silver Puniballs are likely to have this trait.
Lion Rush will decrease its Defense but will greatly boost Attack and Speed. Thanks to everything else we’ve done up to this point, the Defense decrease is negligible.
Now just finish up the synthesis. Make sure to pick the Stats Charge++, ATK & DEF Charge++, HP Charge++, and Lion Rush as your traits when accepting the item rebuilding.
