Tower of Fantasy: How to Defeat Robarg | World Boss Guide

The world of Tower of Fantasy is huge, with tons of enemies along the way. As you continue your adventure, you will eventually come across world bosses in the open. One such boss is Robarg, who also happens to be the very first World Boss you can come across.

This world boss has a chance of dropping SSR weapons alongside other useful items. And since it can respawn after a certain period of time, this will be one of your means of farming SSR items.

That said, here’s a guide on how you can defeat it.

How to Defeat Robarg | World Boss Guide in Tower of Fantasy

You can encounter Robarg inside the Tomb of Thorns which you can find in the southeastern part of the Southern Ring Ranges area of the map. After dropping down the boss arena on the map, the boss fight will then start.

As a world boss, Robarg can be quite tough to handle, especially for beginners. It comes with 5 huge health bars that have four chunks of white shield bars each. So in essence, you need to first deplete the white bars first before you can deal significant damage to its main health.

Boss Attack Patterns

Luckily, Robarg is the weakest world boss out of them all at only level 24. Despite that, it’s still fairly strong if you’re quite underleveled and unprepared. During the fight, you have to pay attention to its shield which it applies to reduce the total amount of damage it takes.

Also, it seems to have resistance against Volt damage, so you might want to consider switching your weapon.

The boss will summon slow-moving wasps to attack you, and you can either kill them or kite them around. Another common attack it uses is the gas cloud where it unleashes gas in a wide area. Once it does, do your best to head over to the edge of the arena outside of its AOE.

In the event you got hit, you’ll take heavy damage over time which you can counter via heals. A healer in your party is very useful for this. If there’s no healer, you can just consume some food and heal through the damage.

Then there’s its melee attack where it spins a leaf around its body, hitting any character that is nearby. If you’re a melee character, you want to avoid getting hit by that attack by walking out of its range.

Robarg’s last attack pattern is the vine attack where it will summon vines as well as a red flower head. Once this happens, flowers will appear in the red zones on the ground, and anyone standing in any of those zones will get hit.

Through Robarg’s attack patterns, make sure to get a few hits before backing away when it performs any of its attacks. Rinse and repeat, and with a decent party, you should be able to take down this world boss in no time.

What You Can Get

After defeating Robarg, you will find a password chest on the arena which you can unlock using Perfect Decipher. It will contain a ton of goodies which could include a random SSR weapon, Robarg matrix, random SR weapon, King matrix, and more.
