Torchlight Infinite is a brand-new game for mobile players who enjoy action-role-playing games and shooting games. This dungeon-crawling-style game features different character classes. It is all up to you whether you like to play as a mage or as a fighter, as it will all depend on your preferred playstyle.

However, solely relying on your basic attack and skills, would be too boring. You may also experience difficulties in facing enemies. With that being said, the game has incorporated loots that can give you some attribute boosts.

In this guide, we will give tips on how to loot better in Torchlight Infinite.

Torchlight Infinite is a very random game, and so are its loots.

As mentioned earlier, there are different character classes that you can choose from. However, the weapon you will use doesn’t have to perfectly match the skills of your character class. All you have to consider is your build and how you use it, this is where your loot will be based on.

Plus, when you are fighting enemies, there will be chances that you will get rare or high-quality drops with good stats. However, it does not fit your build and your style. In this situation, make sure not to take risk of equipping the loot because of its rarity with your real playstyle.

Corrosion System

Another thing that must be taken into consideration is the game’s corrosion system.

After you finish the dark surge events that were just recently added to the game, you will meet Zenoth, The Lightless. When you meet him, you will receive free corrosion with five ways of changing your loot namely Mutate, Chaos, Defile, Haughty, and Void.

Using the mutate grants a 70% chance of adding a random stat to your loot. Chaos has a 10% chase of randomizing your stats, which is indeed, pretty chaotic. The haughty gives a 10% chance of upgrading a stat by one or two ranks.

The void has a 10% chance of just putting your loot in the corrosion state. Furthermore, the defile allows you to exceed tier-one base gear and upgrade stats by two.
