Palworld: Where to Find Lots of Leather

Leather in Palworld is a very useful item to have, especially early on in the game. Leather can help you craft many essential items, like armor and saddles.

Getting both of these early on will help you beat tough bosses, and acquire even better items

We will be looking at how you can get your hands on leather in Palworld. Leather can be a bit hard to get if you don’t know where to look, so this guide will point you in the right direction.

Where to Find Leather

Leather is one of the resources in Palworld that can not be generated. You have to take down specific Pals in the game to get your hands on leather.

Direhowls

Direhowls are great Pals to hunt down if you are looking to farm for leather. These Pals drop a lot of leather when you kill them, and they can be found in packs in certain areas.

Be sure to have a good enough weapon equipped, as the Direhowl might prove to be difficult if you aren’t well prepared.

The map above shows the best area to hunt for Direhowls in the early game. Direhowls are much more likely to spawn in the area inside the red circle above. This isn’t the only area where you will find the Direhowls, but this area is very close to the starting area.

Traders

Traders are the other way you can get leather early on. You can purchase leather from traders by spending your gold.

The image above shows leather that can be purchased from a trader. Other than leather, you can buy plenty of other resources from these traders, depending on what you need.

Managing Inventory Space

It is very important that you manage your inventory, and not run out of space to carry items. The weight of leather is just 2 units, but that can add up if you have a lot of leather in your inventory.

It’s always good to only carry items you need for a certain expedition. This will ensure that you don’t run out of space, letting you keep everything you collect on your adventure.
