Palworld has been at the center of controversy due to some of its designs, but modders have instead opted to start adding in popular creatures from other franchises… such as Garurumon!
Garurumon is one of the most popular Digimon designs. So, if you’re a Digimon fan, you might want to get this mod!
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get your very own Garurumon in Palworld.
Where to Find Garurumon
So, as we stated in our introduction, Garurumon is not officially in Palworld. Instead, you will need to get a mod.
Obviously, you can only use this mod in the PC version of the game. Which, on that note, it’s only guaranteed to work on the Steam version.
It might not work properly with the Microsoft Store version of Palworld, since it’s an older version as of this writing.
The mod will replace all Eikthyrdeer in Palworld with Garurumon. It’s purely a visual change, as they will still behave like Eikthyrdeer, but it’s good enough.
You can download the mod from its page on Nexus Mods. Credits to FrancisLouis on Nexus Mods for creating the mods!
Once you’ve downloaded the mod, you just need to locate your Palworld installation folder. On Steam, you can just right-click on Palworld, then select “Browse Local Files” under “Manage.”
When you open the Palworld installation folder, navigate to “Pal\Content\Paks”.
Then, in the Paks folder, make a new folder and simply name it “mods”.
Now just extract the Garurumon mod into the “mods” folder, and it should look something like the image above!
All that’s left is to boot up Palworld and all Eikthyrdeer will now look like the classic Garurumon. It will work even for Alpha and Lucky variants.
If you don’t yet have an Eikthyrdeer, though, don’t fret. You can see its habitat in the image above, with the area inside the red circle being the easiest one to reach.
Eikthyrdeer is a pretty common Pal, so you’ll have no trouble finding one out in the open.
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know to get Garurumon in Palworld.
