Before you get started on the actual farming, you need to first place your farm.

For this guide, we will be looking at the Berry Plantation that you can unlock. To unlock the berry plantation you will need to be at least level 5, and have 3 berry seeds, 20 wood, and 20 stone.

The Berry Plantation can be unlocked and built very early on due to its low requirements. The berry plantation is also extremely useful early on, as it can provide you with food for your Pals.

Planting, Watering, Harvesting at Your Farm

The Berry Plantation requires you to have Pals for all of these tasks.

Pals in Palworld will show you the work they are suited for. When you open up the page that showcases your Pal, you can find the work suitability section at the bottom right of your screen.

The 3 you are looking for here are planting, watering, and gathering. These 3 traits are fairly common early on and not that difficult to find.

You can then utilize these Pals for your Berry Plantation and get yourself a functioning passive way of generating berries. Berries are a great source of early game food for your Pals, as you can generate quite a lot through your farm.
