To find these Pals, you will need to be slightly higher level. Around Level 20 is a good estimate. The place where you can go to catch some is also a distance away from the starting area of the Plateau of Beginnings. 

To get your very own Digtoise and Dumud Pals, head to this area on the map. It is northwest of the starting area. We recommend using flying tames to navigate to this area as fast as possible. 

You can find the desired Pals roaming this area. They might be hard to catch, but preserve. It is very worth it to get these Pals tamed for mining.

In the end, you can always upgrade your work stats using Pal Distillation. If you want to use Digtoise until the end, you can upgrade its work stat.
