You might have seen some clips of people playing Palworld 1.0 who are sporting that blue ponytail hairstyle. Lots of players actually wonder how to get it since it’s not included in the character creation window.
Here’s how you can get it.
How to Get the Blue Ponytail Hairstyle in Palworld 1.0

“The Hair” in question is a reward you can get from clearing a Level 80 Hard Mode Tower. Its actual name is Auri Hat, a Legendary cosmetic gear that you put on your Head slot.
And as you might have guessed, you can obtain it from Auri and Shaolong. This is a new Tower Boss which got introduced in the full release version of the game.
Also, as mentioned, you have to clear the Hard Mode version, not the Normal one. This means you have to prepare for a hard encounter, especially since the duo has a combined health pool of 501,600.
After you defeat the boss, you’ll then get the Auri Hat cosmetic.
Sounds easy enough, right? Well, only if you’re at a high level with a lineup of strong Pals in your team.
Where to Find the New Tower Boss
If you haven’t encountered Auri and Shaolong yet, you have to defeat Bjorn and Bastigor at the Feybreak Tower. This will then unlock the terminal that will take you to the new Sunreach area.

From there, you want to head to The Azure Tapestry in the center of Sunreach. Locate the PIDF Tower shown in the image above. Inside is where you can find Auri and Shaolong.
Now comes the hard part, which is actually beating the boss. Luckily, you can use a relatively expensive setup with a team consisting of 4 Orserks and 1 Lyleen Noct. You don’t even need perfect Pals for this.
The Orserks will be your frontline Pals while Lyleen Noct will serve as support to heal and revive your team.
You don’t even need to Condense or Awaken them. All you have to do is level up all of them to level 80, give them Pal Souls, and teach them powerful Skill Fruits.
Additionally, getting some passives like Burly Body, Musclehead, and Serenity can be a huge help.
Tips for Dealing with the Boss

It’s worth noting that Hard Mode Tower bosses now have a five-minute time limit, so dealing consistent damage is just as important as staying alive.
One way to improve your chances of winning is to frequently withdraw and resummon your active Orserk to dodge heavy attacks instead of letting it absorb every hit.
You also want to equip Element Rings, Element Batons, and your strongest available gear. Lastly, prioritize high-power skills like Diamond Rain, Absolute Frost, and Thunderstorm as they connect more reliably during frequent Pal swapping.
Using this strategy can allow even such an inexpensive setup capable of completing the fight before the timer expires.

After defeating the boss, you’ll then get the cosmetic. Simply open your inventory and equip it. And that’s all you have to do to get “The Hair” in Palworld 1.0.
It’s unfortunately tied to a relatively endgame encounter, so if you’re still in the early stages of the game, just take the time to level up and progress through the game.
