Most players in Palworld 1.0 grind boss loops and dungeon runs trying to farm endgame schematics without realizing one of the most consistent and low effort methods involves a fishing rod.  Fishing at Grand Master spots in the World Tree is one of the best ways to get Legendary Schematics, and the loot tables there are among the best in the game.

In this guide, I will show you exactly how to set up the fishing farming method in Palworld 1.0 and how to use it to pull a large amount of endgame schematics and valuable resources consistently.

Best Method for Farming Endgame Schematics

Before getting into the location, you need to make sure your party is set up correctly first. The right Pals make the fishing minigame significantly easier to manage and directly increase the quality and quantity of what you pull out of the water. Here are the Pals you want in your party for this method:

  • Gloopie brings the “Sticky Princess” partner skill which slows down how quickly the capture gauge drops whenever you lose alignment with the fish during the minigame. This gives you significantly more room for error and makes it much less likely that you fail a catch, especially on tougher or rarer pulls.
  • Solmora brings the “Charming Fish” partner skill which makes it easier to fish up talented Pals with strong passive skills while it is in your party. Having Solmora in your party increases the odds of those Pals having better talent rolls when you reel them in, which adds an extra layer of value to every fishing session on top of the schematics you are already farming.
  • Whalaska Ignis brings the “Cozy Whale Cruiser” partner skill which starts every fishing minigame with an increased capture gauge and also increases capture progress when the bar overlaps the fish. The Ignis variant offers a stronger range than the standard Whalaska, boosting the effect from 7% up to 17% when fully condensed.
  • Jelliette is arguably the most impactful Pal in this setup. Her “Jelliette Drop” partner skill increases the number of items obtained from fishing by anywhere from 55% to 95% depending on how much you have condensed her. At full condensation she nearly doubles your item yield per catch, which is what makes this farming method so much more rewarding than simply running dungeons or boss loops.

Best Location for Fishing Endgame Schematics and Resources

The best location for farming endgame schematics and other valuable resources through fishing is the water near the Gilded City Ruins in the World Tree map. This area has one of the strongest fishing loot tables in the entire game, consistently pulling up high quality schematics and other endgame materials.

Tips on Fishing

For fishing at this location, bring the best rod you have available. The Advanced Fishing Rod with the Pengullet lure is a very solid option and what I would recommend using here.

For bait, you want to be using Alluring Bait specifically as it increases both the size of the fishing bar and the number of items you receive per catch, making it the best bait choice for a farming run focused on loot quantity and quality.

The fishing minigame itself is fairly straightforward once you get the hang of it. A green bar sits on the screen and a yellow fish cursor moves around within the fishing zone. Your goal is to press the primary button to move the green bar and keep the moving yellow cursor inside it for as long as possible.

Pressing the button once moves the bar to the right and pressing it again moves it to the left. Tapping it quickly will cause it to hover in roughly the same position if you need to make small adjustments. The longer you keep the cursor inside the bar the faster the catch meter fills and the more items you pull up per successful reel.

That’s It

That covers everything you need to set up and run the fishing farming method in Palworld 1.0. It is one of the most consistent and low effort ways to build up a solid stockpile of endgame schematics and valuable resources without needing to grind boss loops or clear the same dungeons repeatedly.
