Sacrificing Pals to get stronger!

Palworld allows you to capture and level up a variety of different Pals. These leveled-up Pals are useful for combat, crafting, base building, and pretty much anything else you can think of. The process to do this isn’t too well explained.

You use the Pal Distillation Pod to level your Pals up, but how does this work exactly? What are the requirements to use it?

Here are all the things you need to know on how to use the Pal Distillation.

How to Use Pal Distillation

Pal Distillation is the process by which you level up your Pals. This increases their base stats and makes them more effective to use. For this process, you need a certain amount of extra Pals.

When interacting with the Pal Distillation Pod, you will see all of your Pals listed. When you click one of them, you will see a “Pal Extract” meter.

Here’s the hard part of using these Pal Distillation Pods. To fill that bar, you need Pals of whatever amount is required for the distillation process. In our case, we need 16 additional Lifmunks to level up our main Lifmunk.

This “consumes” all of those extra Pals. That basically means they’re dead and gone from your inventory. These extra Pals can be any level so at least they’re easier to catch and farm. Once you provide the Distillation Pod with all the extra Pals it needs, you can level your Pal up.

As you select your extra Pals, make sure the first Pal you selected is the one you want to upgrade. Then, tick all of the additional pals.

Once done, you will see that your Pal is now upgraded. They have higher base stats in their Max HP, Attack, and Defense. Their Pal Support ability is also leveled up, as a bonus.

This is all for this simple explanation of how the Distillation Pods operate. It can hurt to sacrifice all the Pals you caught with hard work. But just remember, quality over quantity!
