With the release of Palworld a few days ago, players jumped right in and started grinding to get as many Pals as possible.

This Pokemon lookalike action RPG, developed by Pocket Pair Inc. boasts seemingly endless content and endless possibilities from raising Pals to building your perfect base.

Within your base, there are multiple factories so to speak and these factories need little workers to function properly.

This is where your Pals come into play. In today’s article, we’ll give you a step-by-step guide on how to put your Pals to work and explore which Pals are best suited for a specific task. So without further ado, let’s get to it!

A quick note for our readers…each Pal has unique abilities best suited for a specific task, we will go over some of them but not all.

How to Put Your Pals to Work

Palworld on Steam

To start employing your Pals, as opposed to making them work by force, you need to head over to the Palbox Management Menu. Go ahead and open up this menu once you approach it by pressing the F-key. See the screenshot below for more detailed information.

Once you do this, the Palbox Management Menu will provide a grid list of all the Pals you have caught. You can hover your pointer over each one and on the right side their abilities will appear telling you what that particular Pal is best suited for.

Once you have decided which Pal you want to employ (after you’ve gone through their CVs and all) click on that specific Pal and drag it into your inventory down below as indicated in the screenshot.

If you wish to learn more about a specific Pal, you can open up your Paldeck in the menu and search for a specific Pal to see what that Pal is good at.

Alternatively, if you want your Pals to work a really specific job, approach that Pal, pick it up, and toss it at the workstation you want them to get their hands on. For example, throw Lifmunk at the logging camp.

With this, you have successfully assigned the designated workforce to your base and it can now become an oasis of productivity. We covered some other details regarding base productivity here, so make sure to check it out!
