Palworld: How to Hatch Eggs | Incubator Guide

Breed your own Pals

Published

on

Palworld has a lot of Pals. By that, we mean over 100 Pals are present in the game world. Capturing all of them is a hassle, especially when you want more than one of them for farming. Fortunately, there is a solution, breeding.

By using an Incubator to hatch your eggs, you can breed Pals. These will all be Level 1. There’s a variety of eggs, common ones and a lot more rarer ones.

The incubation process can be tricky to figure out, so keep reading to figure it out!

How to Hatch Eggs | Incubator Guide

For the Incubation process, all you need is an Incubator and some eggs. The Incubator requires some hard-to-find materials to be crafted. The eggs are much easier to find, they are scattered all across the world.

Crafting the Egg Incubator

The Egg Incubator is unlocked at Level 7 which is fairly early. It can be found in the Ancient Technology column on the right of your Technology page

As you can see, its crafting requirements are a little unique. It requires:

  • At least 10 pieces of Paldium Fragment
  • At least 5 pieces of Cloth
  • At least 30 pieces of Stone
  • At least 2 pieces of Ancient Civilization Parts
  • At least 1 Ancient Technology Point

Paldium Fragments and Stones are the easiest to obtain here. You can find them scattered around the world, mostly in rocky and mountainous areas.

To obtain cloth, we recommend taming some Lamballs and placing them in your Ranch. They drop Wool fairly frequently, which is required to make the Cloth we need.

The Ancient Civilization Parts and Ancient Civilization Points are a bit harder to obtain.

Farming the Materials

The best way to get these is by fighting and killing larger World Bosses or Alpha Pals found in dungeons. These are pretty easy to identify by just looking at their health bar and their much larger size.

Once you kill a World Boss, you will see that you’ve obtained an Ancient Civilization Point. On the left, you can also see that these enemies drop Ancient Civilization Parts, along with some extra bonus goodies.

Using the Incubator

Now that you have all your egg requirements fulfilled, craft your first Incubator Egg from the builder menu! It’s fairly small, so place it wherever you like.

Placing the Egg Incubator

Once placed, interact with it to place your Egg inside. Be sure to have the Eggs you want to hatch stored in your inventory for this process. The amount of time an Egg takes to hatch depends on its rarity, so be sure to wait. Patience is rewarded well here.

Putting the Egg

Once the Incubation process is complete, approach the egg. Hold down the interaction button to finish the Incubation process. If you do this successfully, an Incubation Complete message will appear on the screen. This also says the name of the Pal that was spawned.

Incubation Complete

To find the Pal you just spawned, go into your Pal manager. It will be Level 1, so sorting by Level is the easiest way to find it.

Hangyu

That’s all you need to know to get started breeding your own Pals in Palworld. All you need to do now is raise them well, and you should be good to go!
