Palworld: How to Get Mega Sphere

Palworld features 6 different types of Spheres that can be used to catch increasingly higher levels of Pals. The second of these is the Mega Sphere, which is necessary as you progress past the initial starting areas. 

After about Level 10, most Pals become inconsistent to catch with the starter basic Spheres. It’s pretty important to have some higher-level Spheres in your inventory, so how do you get some Mega Spheres?

How to Get Mega Sphere

There are a few methods for getting Mega Spheres. You could collect them in higher-level dungeons, but that’ll take a while. You could also unlock Mega Spheres through the technology tab and craft some. The last method is the least efficient, you can open some random chests to get Mega Spheres as well.

1. Collecting Mega Spheres:

As you enter some of the higher-level areas, you will find some Mega Spheres just lying around available to collect. These can be very useful as you explore, allowing you to get your hands on some Mega Spheres. You can use these in the dungeons, and don’t have to worry about crafting some beforehand!

2. Crafting Mega Spheres:

By far, the most consistent way to get Mega Spheres is by crafting them. You can unlock them at Level 14 in the technology tab. Be sure to have a workbench too if you don’t have one. Their most basic version can be unlocked as Level 14 as well. You need one to start crafting your Mega Spheres. 

To craft some Mega Spheres, make sure you have the following resources:

• At least 1 piece of Paldium Fragment 
• At least 1 piece of Ingot
• At least 5 pieces of Wood
• At least 5 pieces of Stone

You should craft as many of these as you can. There are many Pals out in the world, and you don’t want to miss any!

3. Opening Chests:

You can find random chests while exploring that contain Mega Spheres and other goodies sometimes. These can be hard to find, so this method shouldn’t be relied on. Not only are the chests rare, but the chances of them containing Mega Spheres are also low.

To find some chests easier, explore at night. Chests glow in the dark which can make them easier to spot. Having a flying mount Pal to ride around can make it a lot easier to locate the chests you need. And hey, if you don’t find Spheres, at least you’ll have some other neat loot!
