Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: Master Rank Layered Armor Guide

Monster Hunter is mainly all about maximizing your weapons and armor to effectively hunt monsters. However, there’s nothing stopping you from looking fashionable while doing so. In fact, even the game encourages such a thing. In the Sunbreak expansion, this comes in the form of Master Rank Layered Armors.

Master Rank Layered Armor Guide in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

In order to unlock Master Rank layered armors, you need to finish all main missions in the Sunbreak expansion first. After that, you then have to complete the Proof of Courage quest and talk to the blacksmith after.

Upon doing so, the option to craft a Master Rank Layered armor will then appear. However, you won’t be able to craft one right away. As with any other Monster Hunter game, you need to farm certain materials first.

For Master Rank Layered Armors, specifically, you will need Outfit Vouchers. You can obtain them by doing Anomaly Quests and hunting Afflicted Monsters.

Once you have enough Outfit Vouchers, simply head over to the blacksmith and craft the layered armor of your choice. Most layered armors will require other materials as well, so make sure to farm those materials too.
