Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – How to Get Layered Master Rank Armor

As you progress through the Sunbreak expansion, especially when you reach the endgame, you’ll eventually feel the need to get just about everything. And once you start approaching the endgame, particularly at Hunter Rank 8, you’ll then start obtaining Layered Armors.

However, there are still lots of things you need to know about, and we’ll cover them all here in this guide.

How to Get Layered Master Rank Armor in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

To obtain the Layered Master Rank armor in Sunbreak, you have to finish all of the main missions in the expansion first. Once you’ve finished the Proof of Courage mission, head over to Minayle the Blacksmith. Interact with the NPC, and she will then offer to craft the Master Rank Layered armor.

However, you’re still a bit far away from actually crafting it. Instead, you have to do a lot of grinding first. Specifically, you have to do Anomaly Quests which you can also unlock right after the main quests are completed.

These quests will give you Outfit Voucher and tokens which you’ll need to craft the Master Rank Layered armor.

One armor piece will need two Outfit Vouchers as well several tokens, alongside other materials. That means you’ll need a total of 10 Outfit Vouchers just to complete the full set.
