How to Mine Diamonds, Sculk, and Moss in Minecraft

The Deep Dark biome is one of the major additions to the Minecraft 1.19 update. Due to the new Warden mob that will live there, this will be one of the deadliest biomes to explore.

The biome will develop in the world’s deepest regions, typically where these priceless Diamonds, Sculk, and Moss are discovered. Therefore, you need to take additional caution when mining for them.

Mining Diamonds, Sculk, and Moss

The best place to mine Diamond, Sculk, and Moss are:

Diamond: The best and most sought-after ores in this game are diamonds. Starting at Y 15 and moving all the way down to Y -64 will get you diamonds. You will be able to locate even more diamonds as you descend further into the world and walk deeper into the cave.

Sculk: You must break Sculk blocks with a tool with the silk touch enchantment to retrieve the block as an item. A gold hoe is used to break them the fastest because the block is similar to dirt.

Moss: Head down to the lowest cave you can find and break one block. Put in a piece of Moss, which will expand around the area. Keep doing this until you have an abundance of Moss. Then, use your Hoe to mine everything all at once.
